Providers completing timecards

Hello everyone -

I wanted to ask if there are any groups that do not have their providers complete timecards. This is a pain point among our provider group.

If you do not have providers completing time cards, how do you track PTO and other leave? And how do you handle reporting for grants and any audits?

Thank you, in advance, for your time and input!

We attempted to stop our providers from clocking in/out (actually all exempt staff), however, we ran into many issues with tardiness and tracking their time off, because they would just leave after their last patient, but we have walk in times, staff were "missing". So, we ended up putting it back into place that we all had to use the timeclock. I feel like it was implemented well, and accountability lacked, if we had managed the process better, we could have kept it, but unfortunately it was a disaster. I would like to get to a point when we could try this again, but I don't know that we will get there.
