The Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers (MACHC) supports community health centers in Maryland and Delaware in expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care. Through technical assistance, workforce development, policy analysis, and advocacy, MACHC helps strengthen health outcomes and advance sustainable healthcare delivery.

Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers (MACHC) serves as the federally designated Primary Care Association and Health Center Controlled Network for Maryland and Delaware FQHCs. MACHC supports community health centers in advancing access to high-quality, affordable, and community-centered primary care while navigating the evolving healthcare landscape. The organization also advocates on behalf of health centers and the patients and communities they serve.

MACHC provides a wide range of services and technical assistance to community health centers, including role-specific workgroups that promote best-practice sharing and high performance, online learning opportunities for frontline staff and managers, and expert guidance in areas such as compliance, quality improvement, operations, finance, emergency preparedness, and value-based care.
