About the Event
Dr. Jennifer Daniels will lead an interactive, in-person workshop on culturally competent conflict management.
Participants will learn:
- the fundamentals of diversity, social identity, and culture,
- how intersectional identities impact communication style, with an exploration of intergenerational team dynamics,
- why effective conflict management is essential to excellent customer service and patient-centered care, and
- tangible, culturally competent conflict mitigation strategies.
To receive three Continuing Nursing Education credits, participants must be present for the entire course and complete a course evaluation.
