A stronger organizational change competency accelerates results, increases the likelihood of fulfilled change aspirations, and enables a change-ready culture. Practical blocking and tackling leadership techniques prepare leaders to manage resistance to change and build a team that leans into transformational change required to improve performance.

Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss the impact of change in healthcare today
2. Understand the importance of leaders expressing, modeling, and reinforcing the behaviors required for changes to be successful and sustained
3. Offer practical tips for leaders to manage through continuous, transformative change, especially as it relates to emergency preparedness & response and patient/staff safety
