The Heart of the Matter: GLP-1 Therapies and the Next Era of Cardiovascular Prevention

This webinar will examine the expanding role of GLP-1 receptor agonists in cardiovascular disease prevention, highlighting current clinical evidence and practical strategies for integrating these therapies into community health center practice. Participants will explore medication access, affordability, and adherence among Medicaid, uninsured, and other underserved populations, including considerations related to the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The webinar will also address culturally responsive communication, shared decision-making, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, team-based care, and common safety considerations.
