4. Provider ACA Outreach and Enrollment Toolkit-HRSA recently launched the Provider ACA toolkit, a clearinghouse of Marketplace resources for clinicians and site administrators. The site includes:
ACA Basics - State-specific information, Marketplace enrollment timeline, and Consumer assistance information.
Patient Handouts and Education - Information on eligibility and new coverage options as well as where to go to enroll.
Business Operations - Information about the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP); the health care law; and business operations.
Training and Education - Training for CME/CE credit, sample slides, webinars and other materials that can be shared with health professionals.
II.) New Marketplace Tools Available (videos & interactive tool)
Want to see how the online application and enrollment process will work for the federal Health Insurance Marketplace?
1. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a video that walks you through the single, streamlined online application by showing how a user can create an account, fill in the application, and see which new health insurance options users are eligible for.
2. Another video on the online enrollment process explains the "Enroll To-Do List" and shows how users can see side-by-side comparisons of available health insurance plans.
3.In addition, the Commonwealth Fund has released a new, fun interactive tool to help individuals learn how the Affordable Care Act's Health Insurance Marketplaces work.
