At an event on October 14, 2011 sponsored by the Bank of America, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center has been named a 2011 Delaware Neighborhood Builders® in the nonprofit category of the Neighborhood Excellence Initiative. The organization will receive $200,000 in unrestricted grant funding and participate in Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Leadership Program® with other nonprofit leaders from 45 communities across the country and from London. Only two non-profits each year in Delaware are awarded this coveted grant. Congratulations to the staff and board of Henrietta Johnson for being singled out for this distinction.
