Public/Private Partnerships
MACHC works hard to build relationships with private sector organizations that compliment and add value to our initiatives. MACHC has partnered with such industry leaders as University of Maryland School of Medicine, United Healthcare, Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company, Merck, and Phytel Corporation to provide funding and sponsorships for training workshops, networking dinners for our membership. MACHC’s new Corporate Partner Program provides opportunities for your organization to distinguish itself and build relationships with MACHC’s member Community Health Centers. This program allows our members to easily identify and evaluate potential suppliers, consultants and other resources. In addition, it provides an opportunity for shared advocacy when health centers’ and vendors’ interests are similar.
Future Investment
MACHC works closely with its members to identify needs and future areas of interest for community health centers. When new areas of need are found, MACHC aggressively pursues funding and technical assistance opportunities to leverage with MACHC support. Current and future areas of interest that MACHC is investigating include:
-Oral health
-Mental health
-Diabetes
-Patient Centered Medical Homes
-Health disparities
Our Current Partnerships
We are currently partnered with Phytel, the leader in physician-led health improvement. Under this partnership, MACHC supports the untilization of Phytel's population health management tools. Phytel’s Proactive Patient Outreach solution will serve as a vehicle to help MACHC members improve patient outcomes, build patient centered medical homes, and show meaningful use of their electronic health records so they can qualify for government financial incentives.
