Overview Please join us for a dynamic training offered in partnership with Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers and the National Association of Community Health Centers. This two-day training will teach the fundamentals of emergency management specific to health centers, including National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses 100, 200, and 700 and will offer participants the opportunity to take the certifying NIMS exams. Other highlights of this conference include a review of recently released Bureau of Primary Health Care PINs 2007-15 and 2007-16, discussion of pandemic influenza planning considerations for health centers, and networking opportunities to learn from one another. Understanding the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and how it fits into your organization will help effective planning, preparedness, and response in collaboration with your local, state, and national partners. It is also required by many states that fund PCAs and CHCs and is strongly recommended by the Bureau of Primary Health Care.
